Good day cooking,went to local market first and was shown what all the strange herbs and spices were that are used in Lao meals. Our kitchen was right next to a beautiful lily covered pond...... First we made a spicy tomato dip,ingredients bashed up in pestle and mortar....then we made a spicy chicken filled lemon grass,then river fish in garlic,shallot,chilly and coriander..........next buffalow With lemon grass,garlic,fish sauce couple other things I cant remember......and last pudding,purple rice cooked in coconut milk with sugar and salt........every thing was relatively easy and simple to prepare,look forwards to trying it when I get home.......
