Good evening everyone! We want to introduce you to Claire! Just a few months ago Claire and her families lives were turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma (a rare form of childhood cancer). We got to know Claire a little and decided to design a dress for Claire that included a few of her favorite things....Pink & Owls!! We would love to help with their financial burdens so we have decided to put this dress into production and donate ALL OF THE PROCEEDS to Claires family. She loves to sing, dance, do gymnastics, and make those near her laugh. Claire turned 4 this year and until her recent diagnosis, has been a healthy and active little girl. She is in the beginning stages of fighting this disease. We are all praying for Claire and her family as they walk this road together. Ewings Sarcoma is a very rare cancer, with only 2 in every 1,000,000 people having it. Currently her tumor is on her spine and is too large to operate on. So Claire will undergo 12 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by radiation. Once the tumor is of a smaller size, she will have one of possibly multiple surgeries. This will be an arduous treatment regimen for both our precious Claire and her family.As with any grave illness, the financial burden is daunting. Beyond the cost of medications, there is also the cost of travel to and from the hospital multiple times per week, time away from work, and the challenges of creating as normal of an environment as possible for the family as a whole.
