Good evening from my corner of the valley. It has been the craziest weekend. Saturday we set a record for the most rain for that day since the 60s,we got nearly 5 inches and Sunday wasnt much better and it just looked like it wouldnt stop. WE woke this morning to blue skies and by the middle of the day it was in the 70s and the kids, rather all of us were melting. Should be no surprise this is a rain forest in Alaska you know. Took a scooter ride with Hannah to get the car from Bruce at work. Took the kids to McDonalds for lunch and then home to the cool house with the fans going and some needed rests and a nap for the baby. The kids have been having a fun time . They are growing so fast. Hayley is getting so cute. She eats the funniest thing for a baby. Zucchini fries and strawberries are her favorite. She also loves cottage cheese. She just loves to eat. The other two we have to practically beg to eat sometimes. Timmy just got home with Joanna and he ran most of the way and is till full of energy. He is so full of spunk it is fun to watch. I am so glad we have been protected from so many things. The things that happen sometimes are meant to hurt us but God has a way of turning the things around for good. An accident let us pay off our car, a near accident fixed the lift and it is working better than it did from the get go. Joanna said it just floats up and down. You just cant make these things up. You know God is so good. So I guess I will try and get some sleep tonight. I had a bad headache last night so I only slept off and on. Tomorrow I have an eye appointment and hopefully some new glasses will lighten my day. I always like picking out new glasses. So I hope you all have a great evening and that your day tomorrow will be filled with only great things. Remember to hand out smiles and lend a hand where ever you may be able to. Good night all.
