Good evening good people The greatest life I can live is to - TopicsExpress

Good evening good people The greatest life I can live is to use the gifts given to me by my Creator to make our world a better place. I truly believe this. And so, I struggle with my greatest enemy, myself, each day to manifest goodness within myself so that I am able to manifest goodness beyond my own inner universe. Changing the world begins with changing one person at a time. Every moment of every day we all have choices. To live my greatest life, I must guard my heart and consciously choose what I will use my mind to dwell on. Like a gardener, I must weed out that which serves no good purpose and instead focus on the great thoughts that bring ever more clarity to the struggle before us. So many voices clamouring to be heard and climbing over others to get into the spotlight. When it’s about one’s “self” how can it be about others? The future of “leadership” does not belong to attention junkies in this for personal gain. Nor does it belong to the lukewarm fence-sitters. Though these voices may be part of the Great Unfolding they are not capable of defining a way towards that better world. Those who want to be a part of something great must recognize that they are but one part of an inter-connected, inter-dependent “whole – each one of us are but one part. Those who are able to set aside the need to seek fame and glory for “self” and instead recognize the great opportunity in empowering as many voices as possible by spending themselves in igniting the flame of consciousness around them. And understand their part in re-creating the circle. The future belongs to those of mighty spirit; who though they wrestle with the weaknesses of being human choose to live a great life full of passion, commitment, certainty and focus on what is much too great for one small life to accomplish alone. And who consciously and repeatedly drop away the thick black sludge of widespread epidemic social dysfunction that threatens daily to pull every one of us into its poisonous slippery dark depths. Choosing to live a life of great destiny requires great discipline. The future belongs to those who choose the ideals of love, kindness and compassion as the way forward. Today, we are called to strive to set aside the countless things that separate and divide us and recognize the liberty in living and let live. We were created to care for each other. And rather than demand “rights” we must embrace our duty and responsibilities towards one another as members of the human family and towards the rest of creation. At one time, we understood this but somehow along the way we dropped the very things that matter most. In my humble opinion, it is time we picked up the things that were dropped. The things that define who we are as human beings. In the words of our Elders, “It is time to be human again.” May our Creator guide each of you on your journey towards our better world. Respectfully,
