Good evening to you all! The day in Andaman started with a visit to the picturesque Havelock island on cruise ship Express Bagaiah which being our first was both exciting as well as intimidating. In fact many passengers, mostly women vomited during the journey in the vomiting bags so thoughtfully supplied by the crew members. Radhanagar beach which is about 12 kms from the shore may be one of the most enchanting beaches with clear blue glassy water, milky white sands and dark green forest overlooking the sea All in all a heady combination for a dream destination for the old and the young alike. And the children simply love it! Almost every one in swimming trunks/briefs and tops/t-shirts/ bare backs the beach wears a festive look and the placid,innocuous sea with caressing gentle waves arouses a feeling of rare romanticism rarely felt these days with cares and anxiety gripping one in their vice like grips. And the exquisite lunch on the beach in makeshift roadside eateries with delicacies of freshly caught sea fish tingles ones taste buds like nothing else. But one advice. One should spend a night in some resort in Havelock island to savour the taste of marine life amidst real wilderness. And one should have sufficient battery life in their mobile/cameras to capture all the photographs that are bound to haunt one for years. Lets retire to a sound sleep for an action packed tomorrow in Jollybuoy island to encounter the coral corals throbbing with life! Good night!
