Good morning - thanks for joining me up to a forum that I am looking forward to being an active member of. I am a 2nd career furniture restorer primarily and budding cabinet maker, I spent 30 years working in the water industry as a scientist and engineer and so have come to this 2nd career path as a 50 something born again woodworker - and I absolutely love it (should have had the courage of my convictions 20 years ago) - but life is too short for these thoughts so now enjoying every day of my new found freedom and a real love for what I do. My first images show my recently completed biggest project to date - a before and after pair of European Oak gates that have really tested my professional confidence in terms of the how to do it together with the potential for things to go horribly wrong (which thankfully they didnt) ! - and why do clients want this doing in the winter after asking me initially in the summer ! - looking forward to feedback.
