Good morning, FB friends. More reorganization of my page today over coffee and French toast... a few more posts, photos and contacts removed. Necessary steps in the process of moving on, and moving forward to embrace the blessings of a new life. Ripping off the bandaid. Personal update. Im grateful today to all my friends and family who have been, and continue to be, with me on this journey. Im still stuck in transitionland ATM due to the complexities of the mortgage process, but it wont be long now until I reach my destination... then I can settle comfortably back into a life of peace, quiet and stability. Healing is a process. Its been a difficult couple of months but Im coming out of it with my dignity and integrity still intact, in spite of those whove gone out of their way to harm me, malign my character, enable selfish and irresponsible behavior, and attempt to destroy my life. Message to them, is that they didnt succeed and already have what little reward theyre going to get. I am and always have been a strong, independent, financially savvy lady with my own set of friends and my own set of hobbies and interests. I dont need anyone to hide behind, rescue me, defend me, or solve my problems for me as Ive proven in that past that Im quite capable of doing that all on my own. I have no fear of rebuilding my life again from scratch, and have already begun to do so. Truth is, I like what I see in the mirror and wont go back. I look great with almost 70 lbs gone. My sleep is back on track, and Im surrounded by good people who love and support me. My sense of humor is sharpened and the music is flowing through my hands again. Im moving forward with love and forgiveness for those in my past who I loved, and Im keeping a spot open in my heart for the one who actually earns it. No compromise. The Autumn colors are coming along nicely, and will probably peak here around my birthday. On my agenda this Friday or Saturday, a trip to Robinettes for cider, donuts and a hayride. Longstanding family tradition this time of year. Anyone care to join me?
