Good morning, I have been saying for a few years now, and several months in my posts on Facebook and while campaigning, Augusta need to address this issue. While this is a great start it should not end with this Inspection standard. I believe that apartment units and complexes operated by an individual or company need to be inspected like any other business in Augusta. There can be exemptions for those apartments attached to family homes where the owner resides in the building as well. I would also suggest Augusta implement a set of codes for single family homes, addressing such issues as unregistered vehicles, boats, etc on the property. If we want families and businesses moving to Augusta I believe it is important to have a safe and well maintained City.
