Good morning! Ive had breakfast and Ive been on my walk. We have kind of a watery sunrise this morning. I dont think the day will be as warm as the last two days. I stopped to listen to one little feathered friend sing his praises to the Lord. I am so thankful for a safe and pleasant place to walk... it is not the most beautiful place of Gods creation, but so many of my neighbors have created beauty with the flowers in their gardens, that it makes it a very pleasant place to walk! If you have the time, grab another cup of coffee, pull up a chair and chat with me. My poem today is: Our God Is An Awesome God! And that is the focus of my thoughts this morning. Are you one of those people who work in the background, at home, school or church to get things done? You are in good company. God is continually working in the background of our lives to accomplish His plans. People will say such things as... What a coincidence! Im really lucky. When some people meet that perfect person they call it fate and when they achieve a goal, they think they alone have accomplished it. If you are a background person working to help bring a project to success, you may seldom be praised for that success, but if something goes wrong, suddenly you become visible and may get the blame. It is the same with God. As long as some peoples life are going well, God is invisible! But when things go wrong, He gets the blame. He is an awesome God filled with patience and grace and He will accomplish His plans for our lives... if we give Him the chance! Someone said that when Jesus hung on the cross he thought of you! I love that, He had a plan for each of us, even before we were born! O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before they came to be. Psalm 139:1 & 16... HE IS AN AWESOME GOD! ******************************************************************* ISNT GOD POWERFUL! (Our Daily Bread) One day my 3- year- old granddaughter Katie, surprised her mom and dad with a bit of theological expertise. She said You both had sisters who died. Then God took them up to heaven. Isnt God powerful? How often do we sit back in our sophisticated world and marvel Isnt God powerful? Probably not often enough. We cant know how God spun the worlds into existence. Or how He planned and fulfilled His plan through Jesus. The power of God is immeasurable. Isnt God Wonderful?
