Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen, USO Okinawa is looking for eight (8) outreach volunteers for each of the (9) Sesame Street shows coming to island 25 September – 2 October. Volunteer guidelines are below and we would greatly appreciate the help (yes, LOAs provided). If you would be interested in helping or know someone else who may, please have them email me at [email protected]. Shift options and locations are listed below the volunteer guidelines and a volunteer can help at one show or multiple shows. We would greatly appreciate the help and look forward to seeing everyone. USO Outreach Volunteer guidelines: • must be at least 18 years of age • cannot accompany a child to the performance (while the volunteer is working) • will need to be at the venue one hour prior to each show •Will help to hand out giveaway items that are traveling with the company (Sesame Street twirly lights and USO bandannas) •May be asked to help pack up giveaway items after last performance and other misc. requests as needed •Each performance is approximately 40 minutes. •USO volunteers may wear USO shirts and name tags. •Must sign-in the day of the event to receive LOA in the weeks to follow •Volunteers will need to provide their own transportation to and from the show.
