Good morning, Montclair! We continue to gather information on securitygate: 1. We are hearing that the tests that were to be administered were identical or near identical to state version. 2. Some teachers noticed changes to seed tests had occurred over the weekend--changes made unbeknownst to them. Why? 3. Where did security breach occur? Montclair servers? Outside servers holding tests for district? 4. Security lapse is important given vital information data-base being created for students . The issue is whether board of education will follow though with procedures. They have not done so before--for example, when law not followed on principal evaluations. And when superintendent did not follow required procedures in the Charlie Miller incident. This community of parents will continue to ask questions.
