Good morning. On Wednesday, December 24th we are getting off to a cold start, with a temperature of 40 degrees and some light winds out of the south. We have a clear sky overhead--I was checking out the Big Dipper this morning. Here are your news stories for today: Dr. Cynthia Clinesmith, the Pleasanton ISD Superintendent, will resign. She recommends former Pleasanton High School Principal Dr. Matthew Mann to be her replacement. That, of course, is up to the school board. Next week you can get in trouble in San Antonio if you put your cell phone to your ear while you are driving. A new ordinance will go into effect. The August death of Elmendorf Police Chief Michael Pimentel has inspired several officials of that city to call for a law requiring law enforcement officers to wear bulletproof vests while on duty, and KSAQ News will take Christmas Day off.
