Good morning Queens well its Tuesday time to raise and grind speaking of grinding i think of Anita Denise Baker born January 26 Happy Belated BIRTHDAY to her in Toledo Ohio her origin is my city Detroit Michigan Anita Baker started her career in the late 70s with the funk band Chapter 8,Baker eventually released her first solo album The Songstress in 1983. In 1986 she rose to stardom following the release of her platinum selling second album,Rapture which included the Grammy winning single Sweet Love. To date,Baker has won 8 GRAMMYS Awards WOW and has 5 platinum albums and one Gold Album to her credit. Bakers vocal range is Contralto wow. Well like I always say if she can do it so can you ladies we cant be afraid to jump sometimes we stand by the edge of the pool and stick our toe in when we really need to jump and follow our dreams. Like what MC Sha Rock, Roxanne Shante,MC Lyte,Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Nicki Minaj, Dej Loaf etc what dont kill you makes you stronger so believe in yourself and jump.
