Good morning! TODAY: Sunshine to start the day, but clouds will increase, especially this afternoon. Dangerously cold, especially this morning, with wind chills -20 to -10 in the lowlands and -30 to -20 in the mountains through the morning. Wind chills will be -5 to 5 in the lowlands and -15 to -5 in the mountains this afternoon. Highs: 5 to 13. TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with snow showers arriving near midnight. Less than an inch of accumulation in the lowlands and 1 or 2 inches in the mountains by morning. Wind chills -5 to 5 in the lowlands and -15 to -10 in the mountains. Lows: 0 to 10. TOMORROW & BEYOND: Mostly cloudy tomorrow with snow showers and some very light additional accumulations through the day with highs only in the teens. A few snow showers in the morning in the mountains on Friday, then partly cloudy and cold for the rest of the day with highs near 20. Mostly cloudy on Saturday with another round of light snow showers and highs near freezing. A second wave of snow showers looks to come in later Sunday into Monday along with another arctic plunge early next week. HAZARDS: Roads, especially secondary roads and side streets, are still snow covered and very icy. Dangerously cold with the wind chill this morning especially.
