Good morning! The Igbo people say that whenever a person wakes up is his or her own morning, so good morning! We are swiftly marching into 2015, a new year and a new opportunity. I was reflecting on my life so far and I am amazed at the places Ive gone, the people Ive connected to and while it looks like a very small thing in my eyes, what God has given me the grace to accomplish. I receive mail and messages constantly about the impact of my words and Refresh and I am grateful! Someone asked me how...how did I switch things up? I cant deny that I have been blessed with a supportive community and I have intentionally built a community of power. My husband and family, my girls and friends have been integral to my growth and so I cant say I am doing this thing alone, and thank God! But there is one thing you can do, actually must do if you want to reinvent your life. You must begin to visualize the possibility of living that life. Whatever your dreams are, they are available to you. You can do it. Really. Its not just for those who are rich, Ivy League educated, powerful network having, already celebrated by everyone. Its for you and I too. Believe in yourself. No matter what. It doesnt matter how unlikely it seems, believe in yourself and start saying yes. Start living in the space of possibility. Start choosing differently, surround yourself with people who believe in possibility and are grounded in integrity. I started attending conferences and events to learn, experience, be inspired and build my community and now I speak at them as well. Dont worry if you run into a few hiccups. People who discount you when you are just starting out. People try to discount me all the time, I just keep it moving and keep creating. This is your morning! Say amen!!! Wake up and open your eyes.
