Good morning. What language do you speak? Im sure most of us have - TopicsExpress

Good morning. What language do you speak? Im sure most of us have never given that very much thought. From our earliest encounters in school our primary subject was English. Dont you find it funny that virtually every other country in the world has their own language? Theres French, Italian, Greek, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Swahili, Yoruba and about 288 other spoken languages; not to mention dead languages like Latin. Judaism even possesses its own with Yiddish. How is it that we are stuck with English? Im going to put all my efforts and energies into development and acceptance of an American language. The business world did it; they called it shorthand. Our young have developed their own cell phone communication and the black population has initiated Ebonics in the inner city. Now we have created slang over the many years of our existence as a nation. I think it was created just to irritate the English or perhaps confuse aliens. So here goes, Im pushing for a simple language free from syllables, verbs, conjunctions and the like. No paragraphs needed here, just simple words only. Just think how much time we would save. Just think how many forests we could save. Why I believe we could get by with fifteen words or less everyday. Now there may need to be some refinement in my efforts, but at least its a start. So here goes, my first fifteen words in the new American language: 1) Brr, 2) Yum, 3) Ahh, 4) Ugh, 5) Yuck, 6) Eek, 7) Duh, 8) Hmm, 9) Yup, 10) Nah, 11) Shh, 12) Yipe, 13) Urp, 14) Rah, 15) Bam, and a brand new addition, Umm. That about says it all. By the way God needs absolutely no words at all! Have a great day. Amen and Amen
