Good morning all! Im here with your daily Livi update! After an emotionally exhausting day yesterday, I took some time, had a few glasses of wine with my girl Madeline, and thought some things through. Since the nasal cannula was placed yesterday, Liv has had ZERO episodes! NONE! Shes fed better, felt better and has all around been happier. It seems I have been proven wrong! And Im so happy about it. Ive had to let go of my pride, and accept that I just dont know everything! If my baby needs oxygen for a while, so be it. It blesses me so much to see her resting peacefully without any breathing difficulties. She is still scheduled to have the MRI and HUS (head ultrasound) tomorrow morning. Depending on the results of those images, we may be getting sent home with Liv still on oxygen! No, its not ideal. But for crying out loud! WE COULD BE HOME! Which makes Jonathan and I so incredibly happy! The attending believes that if we do go home, she may only need the oxygen for a few weeks to month. Again, not ideal, but we will take it! If it keeps her alive and well, heck yeah! Im constantly reminded that even though I have no control over certain things, God always has our back. Hes always got a plan, and ultimately its the BEST PLAN! At the end of the day, my baby girl WILL be fine. One step at a time!
