Good morning all. Today I am making an announcement that will make many sad. What matters is that what we are doing is making us happy and giving us a prosperous future. To all those who have made us at the diner and dessert cafe their place to be for the last 3 years and 7 months, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. To all of those that have complimented us in ways that made us proud. When we are told that our food taste like real food and is the best, and that our burgers are so good customers drive a hundred miles to eat, makes us hold our heads up high and knowing that we did what we set out to do, and that was to create a wonderful place to dine with a great atmosphere and service. The locals have been very supportive and we will miss them dearly. They walk into the diner or cafe and we know what to start cooking or what drink to start pouring. And they have always felt at home, just like we set out to do. They have helped keep us alive during the tough slow months. They have become friends. We will miss you. We have also made a name in many other cities and those who travel here for a short vacation or on holiday weekends and make it a point to let us know they are coming and cant wait to eat here is an incredible feeling. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It is best for us to make a change that will better our lives. Give Lynne and I an opportunity to live a life that includes time for us. We have learned so much about this island. All in all we have had a really cool journey here and have made quite a few long lasting relationships that we hope will continue. I really enjoyed cooking our burgers, Ruebens, Phillies, tuna and crab salads. Crab cakes. Shrimp. Omelets. French toast and our famous crunchy French toast. Meals people have come to know as the best they have ever eaten. Look forward to something like this coming to Gainesville in the near future and get these same meals and desserts and service. Also the dessert shop has become a place to get the best home made desserts and specialty coffees with service that was like no other thanks to Lynne. Thank you to the employees that have made us what we have become: Betty, Lacy, Debbie, Nate, Gladys and a few others that have worked with us over the years. Leslie being one and Heath. We have appreciated your services and hope you all find success.
