Good morning all, the sun has tried to show its face, but alas the cloud cover is the winner so far today. I went out walking with a coat, just in case the wet stuff arrived, it didnt, and although the mercury was at 16°c, my coat became very unwelcome because the humidity was high! My thoughts turned to culinary delights with visions of damsons, there seems to be a profusion of damsons in the valley this year. The humble fruit provides me with jam, pie, and the liquor of damson gin. My very favourite is picked damsons, to go with cold meats, pies, and cheeses, and Im sure I could concoct a damson cake for my friends from Words for a Picture! My photos, the humble damsons, a rolling stone gathers no moss, but this boot is quite attached to it. Last nights weak effort of a sunset, and the morning sky at Makro. Wee Willies church door!
