Good morning and welcome to another day with YourElevationToday. Today’s topic: So you say you are desperate? When you say you are desperate for God, what does it truly mean? The Dictionary definition of desperate are – very sad and upset because of having little or no hope; feeling or showing despair; reckless or dangerous because of despair or urgency. So when you say you are desperate, you may also be saying, ‘Lord I am very sad and upset because I have little faith or no hope’! If God has saved you from yourself and has known you before you were born, then please, why be desperate? If being desperate to you means, ‘Jesus I love you and I need you more than everything else, then this is awesome and the true meaning of being desperate. However, if your idea of being desperate follows the dictionary definition, you will need to re-organise your thinking process. Jesus heals, delivers, provides and protects in every single way and nothing will ever change that. As we immerse ourselves in Christ, we should understand that we are never alone, neither should we be sad, alone or be desperate. John 6:35 – ‘And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth in me shall never thirst’. The Lord wants you to seek Him with all your heart, all your might and with all your soul. Not paasively, but be in pursuit of Him. This type of hunger is good and acceptable to God. Determine to seek God with all you heart and all your soul. Draw from His well of life today! Shalom! #Inhale
