Good morning athletes, As most of you know by now, the water in Tempe Town Lake is tested regularly. The water is always tested more frequently leading into our events - and all other events that involve a swim - to ensure the safety of athletes. Because of recent weather systems that have hit Tempe, more attention has been brought to a testing process that must occur before every event. As always, athlete safety is our primary concern. The most recent water quality test results show that Tempe Town Lake far exceeds the standard for full body contact and is safe for swimming. As a result the event will go on as planned following a triathlon format.
