Good morning brothers and sisters in Christ. We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 A wise Christian saint was once asked the secret of becoming perfect. He said: The sole secret is a hearty love of God, and the only way of attaining that love is by loving; . . . Begin as a mere apprentice and the very power of love will lead you on to become a master of the art. Yet we are not loved for our loving natures. Christ, our supreme Lover, loves us despite our lack of love~not because we possess so much of it. What is wonderful about Christs love is that he loves us anyway! Saint Paul was aware of Christs great generosity: But God shows his love for us while we were yet sinners Christ died for us (Rom. 5-8). If we cannot respond in grateful love to Christs sacrifice, we are indeed dead. Who will reject his outstretched arms? Who will turn away from his love? Its our choice. Christ, I fear most of the loss of your love. Take me into your loving arms. Teach me how to love. Amen I pray that everyone will have a peaceful and joyful Thursday, take care and may God continue to bless you all. Amen
