Good morning dear friends! I apologise most profusely for my tardiness in updating you all - no doubt you have all been wondering what I have been up to. Suffice to say, life is an ongoing struggle with the hairy interloper. I find it hard to tolerate its strange & unsavoury habits. It smells even worse when it gets wet (unlike us more refined felines who dont have body odour & are also not stupid enough to get wet!), & its toilet habits still leave much to be desired. I will not go into detail on this subject. It causes me much amusement to saunter around, secure in the knowledge that the humans are restraining it, & watch it wriggle & try to get at me - I thumb my paw at it. The most unpleasant experience to date happened the other evening - we momentarily touched noses & horror of horrors(!) - its tongue suddenly shot out & it LICKED me! I nearly vomited. I shall not get that close again. Apart from these travails, life is not too bad, I have a secure & cosy bed (which admittedly I have to share with the humans some of the time), & plenty to eat.
