Good morning everybody. It is Thursday the 10th of July. We are arriving soon on the three month anniversary of our fire. Many have asked, many have emailed, called and texted love and support which has been greatly appreciated. It has been a while since our last update. The insurance money has started flowing slowly, and we will have a fight for some of the items we lost. Unfortunately we are only getting 80% of depreciated value on all my property which means the money will not be adequate to rebuild anything. We launched the fundraiser 35 days ago on a site called Indiegogo that has fizzled. For reasons I am unable to determine, 2000 people have visited the site and only 31 of you contributed. Your insights would be appreciated. Message me privately please. We were forced to stop the cooking at the Carrollton Bakery by the health department because Kevin was not licensed to serve food by the plate. I have other locations that have offered and I will take advantage of these opportunities when I can. I AM still catering!!! I have a full commercial kitchen at my disposal at my church and can deliver food. Message me if you want to take advantage of me. Marybeth and I have been offered two spaces that are fully equipped. One is MUCH smaller, only seats 36, and the kitchen is tiny. I could not have the wide menu I offered on the square. The other is 4 miles from town and the space is quite dated. Without funds to upgrade, I am not sure if my guests would enjoy the lack of ambiance. I want to thank each of you for your support over the last four years. I honestly miss seeing you. We are in prayer and are diligently searching for a path to having our doors back open.
