Good morning, everyone! A 9 months old baby boy Varshith, who has been suffering with severe ailments since the age of 2 months, has undergone three major surgeries just months after his birth. The first surgery was an insertion of a shunt in his brain to cure the formation of water in the brain, then there was a surgery of tracheostomy, which is an insertion of tube through the neck to provide artificial respiration. Next there was an endoscopic surgery to cure Meningitis (accumulation of fungus in the brain). Varshiths parents are powerloom workers (Chenetha karmikulu), hailing from Sirisilla village in Mahbubnagar district (A.P) who come from a financially downtrodden family. They have till date spent atleast a sum of Rs 8-10 lakhs on their babys treatment. Our team has performed all formal enquiries with the hospitals and the doctors. The doctors estimate a further treatment of 2 months which involves a cost of Rs 4000 to 5000 each day for the medication for complete recovery of the baby. The parents of the baby are at a state where they can no more support the costs for the babys treatment. 8 more weeks of support and the baby can get totally cured. Here is where we appeal to you all. Let us all do what we can for the complete cure of this lovely baby. Every contribution small or big counts.
