Good morning everyone. A good weekend for Mike. A weekend that saw Mike attend numerous graduation parties. He is feeling good and getting ready to begin a new week of therapy. We wanted to share an email that was forwarded to us regarding Mike from someone that has never met him. Hi Daryl, Coach Lynne gave me your email address. Each year the swim team does a swim-a-thon and a different charity is picked each year to which we donate all of the profits. We would like to do it again this year but are looking to get approval from George first. Knowing that he was just in the hospital we thought we could ask you if you could get or give us the approval? My Daughter Alexandra ran the swim-a-thon last year donating all profits to a group that helped Sandy Victims and this year in honor of being the Titians Swim team she has picked Mickey Nichols- Mickeystrong23.org as the charity. She would like to hold it next Thursday during regular scheduled practice hours. Normally she would have written you herself, but I forgot to ask your last name and she didnt feel right addressing you by your first name. Michael Nichols is a Monroe Township High School Senior who suffered a severe spinal cord injury on January 4, 2014 after being checked from behind during a high school varsity game. He continues to make great strides and demonstrates a positive attitude and great strength. Send the envelopes with your pledges and money to Alex Heim.
