Good morning everyone! Hope youve had a great week so far. Things have been extremely busy for me lately. For those of you who would like to lose weight and get in shape, here is something that works backed by science. We can look into this in detail and explain so you can utilize this in your workouts. Many people when they get started, they go too hard, get really sore, then it makes it torture to get back in the gym. I know most people think no pain no gain. Let me tell you what this philosophy has probably wrecked more peoples fitness goals more than any other. Let me introduce you to the heart rate training zone below. This has to do with your age and your heart rate. If you are getting started working out and you want to lose weight say 20-50lbs you will want to get a heart rate monitor and train at the pace where your heart rate is at 60-70% of your maximum heart rate. You will need to maintain that anywhere from 15-60 minutes when you train. At this level you will feel like youre not doing much and think you need to go harder. Dont do it. Maintain the level described above and be consistent about it. Consistent meaning 3xs a week or more. Guess what, as you train like this, your heart will allow to to gradually pick-up the pace and do more work. Imagine yourself 20-50lbs lighter, take a picture of yourself now establish a goal and start today. I promise if you watch what you eat (more on this in upcoming posts), drink plenty of water, get your sleep (7-8 hours a night) and train like the manner described above you will meet your short term and long term goals. This training works for everyone. We have an accomplished road racing bicyclist in our family, This is how he trains and he drops the weight very easily. Im trying to get him to make a post in the future relating to heart rate training. Please continue to get the word out about this page and post if you have a something interesting to share on this page. As always if you have questions or would like to contact me my email is getittogetherfitness@gmail. Thanks and have a great weekend!
