Good morning everyone. I got my expanders filled on Tuesday and I got some muscle relaxers from my family NP Candy, thank you Candy. Even though I have that and pain meds. I am still in a lot of pain. I cant sleep because of the pain. I have a lot of fluid build up under my left armpit and besides that the expanders pull out my muscles more and more each time I get them filled, so the pain gets a little worse. The good news is, I think I only need them filled three more times and then I can move on to the next step. Bad news is, the doctor thinks my left expander may have moved out of place and if thats the case I will have to have surgery for the expanders again. I will know if that needs to happen next Tuesday. My Mom will be having surgery soon and her doctors think she might not need chemo or radiation, so that is great and we will pray she dont. I hope her journey is less painful and a lot shorter than mine and if not I hope she fights hard and keeps a positive frame of mind. I love you Mom! I just realized I have been fighting for almost nine months now and it has been a long and hard nine months, but over all things have went pretty smooth for me and I am still standing strong in this battle for life. I couldnt ask for anything more than that and of course to let my Mom come out standing strong as well. I will be keeping you all up to date and talking to you all soon.
