A surface trough is currently over the southeast interior, and should drift southeastwards off northern New South Wales tomorrow. Forecast for the rest of Tuesday Early morning fog areas in the east. Isolated showers about the east coast and adjacent eastern interior areas, becoming more likely about the southeast of the state. The chance of thunderstorms in the southeast, most likely inland and about the ranges. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds, tending northeast to southeasterly in the far southeast. Winds fresh at times about the tropical coast.
