Good morning family, peace and blessings to you this day! May the joy of the Lord be with you throughout this wonderful Friday! Question: Why should you have a positive outlook on life? Why should you be optimistic about life? For one thing looking forward to a better day is just downright mentally healthy because it allows you to relax your mind. Secondly, God promised better days to those who follow Him. Have you noticed how attitude(s) seems to influence the course of a person’s life? Have you noticed how people with bad attitudes and doubt, are troubled or stay in trouble or always complain? Friends, keeping a positive attitude will allow you to smell the roses in life more often. It allows you to remain focused on goals in future. Oh there are going be a little rain in life; sad and bad days, but because your good days outweigh your bad days, you’ll be able to stand in even the worst of times! Optimism is contagious and it feeds on itself and its self-reinforcing. I’ve found that true children of God, meaning those who live for Him and walk with Him daily are filled with an attitude of gratitude about life and joy radiates from them. It’s different from the happiness those in the world have but will eventually lose. “The Light of God does shine down upon the man who walks with Him; but spiritual darkness is the legacy of the man who shuns Him.” So with optimistic confidence we Children of God know that He is our helper and life is good. And when darkness (shame, sleeplessness, slothfulness, shock, sickness, sadness, sinners or sin) comes upon us and things start to go wrong, we can easily say, “The Lord giveth and the Lord take it away, bless it be the name of the Lord. So get thee behind me satan, I’ve got to smile awhile and get my praise on!” Psalm 103:1-2 Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. Ephesians 5:19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 113:1-4 Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORDs name is to be praised. The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
