Good morning from my old neighboorhood on East 33rd Street between Second and First. I ran into old neighbours and friends I, for the life of me, dont remember by name. I used to shuttle between Kips Bay and Long Beach. I had to leave Long Beach 5am to be certain to be on the curb on east 33rd street in time for ASP (Alternate Side of the Street parking) at 10am. I used to keep my motorcycle on 30th street; until my old super, who is now sitting here with me, invited me to keep my motorcycle in one of his empty storefronts. We have been dear friends since then. He was the last to see Gail just as she trundled into the hospital to give birth to Sarah. How everything changed.
