Good morning from our day at sea heading North to Alaska. Thanks by the way for the lovely comments on yesterday’s blog which was read by 60,000 plus people. It really was a testament to the crew who remain such an epic part of any Carnival cruise. Last night I hosted the welcome aboard show and it featured a snoring lady on the front row, a family who live in Anchorage, Alaska who flew to Seattle to take a cruise to ummmm……….Alaska. Then we had a psychiatrist who rapped his leg around my thigh and ……well you had to be there, it was one of those nights full of fun and laughter. How can some of the Cruise Directors want to give up the stage for more office time as an Entertainment Director……….sorry, don’t get that at all. Anyway, we have now started that position ( ED) on the Carnival Breeze and Carnival Freedom and the reports are that the transition period is going well and I will have more on that soon.
