Good morning guys; hope everyone is well this morning! Well, today was return pokes day here at the rock and we pocked everyone back except for our dear departed friend, Barney Boots which we keep to honor his memory! Today is college football day and our beloved Thundering Herd is due to kick off against Southern Mississippi at noon. We should win this one as Southern Miss is winless this season; but, one never knows in football because the ball is shaped funny and bounces strange ways at times. WVU is at TCU and needs some TLC as they are having a tough time in the Big 12 Conference this year. Should anyone give a hoot about our favorite team, the Thundering Herd of Marshall University where my Dad suffered for many years to graduate setting the bar at a very low level for academic underachievement, you can see the game at CBS (CSS Sports) starting at 12 noon. By the way, dont forget to remember that Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday morning; so, please get up at 2 AM and set your clocks back an hour (Hmmm, or is that spring behind, and fall forward?) We get so confused at this stuff; but, just remember to move your clock one way or another and if you get a call in the morning from your Pastor wanting to know why you are late for morning worship, you will know that you moved the clock the wrong way!
