Good morning, just wanted to post a note on Caseys (Mihkwanis)progress, as we know that many people continue to Pray for his full recovery. Wherever I go, people stop and ask how Casey is doing and tell me that he is in their Prayers. We get messages from people we dont even know, wishing him well and telling us that he is in their Prayers and Ceremonies. Each day Casey makes tiny baby steps toward recovery!! He has been out of Pediatric ICU for 5 days now and is in the Pediatric Unit at RUH. His signs of progress are: moving all his limbs (arms, legs, fingers and toes), squeezes your hand, sometimes will respond to questions by nodding or shaking his head, this indicates that he can hear, understand and is responsive!!! Yesterday he actually cried with sounds and tried mumbling to his Mom. Oh yeah, he can stick out his tongue too!! His parents and family continue to take turns being by his side around the clock, Praying that some day soon, Casey will open his eyes and say lets go play hockey!! This little Miracle boy still needs your Prayers and support. Thank you all for your support through this trying time. Take care of each other and give your kids hugs as much as you can - they are so precious. God Bless you all.
