Good morning ladies! As much as I love interviewing other people and making the information available to you with my podcasts, I wont be continuing them in 2014. The 12 podcasts I recorded this year will remain available on my website. In the near future, I will be self-publishing my first book with a few more to follow in 2014. As I said in my announcement post, my blog postings will go from every day to once a week as soon as I complete this months Ultimate Blog Challenge. Life moves at the speed of light. The internet is filled with the voices of millions. I am but one voice in the infinite space. I thank each of you for the time you spend either here or on my website. For the longest time I wanted to quit my day job and be here to support you in being the best you that you can be. I am rethinking how I do that. One things for certain, the day job is here to stay for the foreseeable future. It supports my writing habit, my travel habit, my kitchen remodel project, and my martial arts addiction. Not to mention, if any one of Richards or my kids needs financial help, we can afford to dip into savings and help them out (for example, when there was a glitch in drill pay, we could help one daughter, when another daughter broke up with her long term boyfriend, we were able to help with her security deposit on an apartment) Given that time is a prioritization of whats important in ones life, I have to seriously look at the cost-benefit-value of what Im doing and why Im doing it. I recently discovered a whole new market for my writing - and as a writer, I was completely overwhelmed, surprised, and wowed. Of course it made me feel great but at the same time, I had to detach from it. Is it just another shiny thing? When Im not wearing my information security cape by day, Im a writer in the spaces in between. And theres lots to write about. Namaste, peace out, I love you all! Peggy PS - Go Red Sox!!
