Good morning my friends. According to science, the days are - TopicsExpress

Good morning my friends. According to science, the days are getting longer but you can’t prove it by me, I’m so mixed up, I’m not even sure what day this is. It’ll be the middle of January before things get halfway to normal. In the middle of January, I’ll have to go to Columbus, Ohio for a few days of training for the Exchange Club and then I’ll be confused again. As soon as we get back from that, we’ll have our mid-winter conference in Kinston, North Carolina. On top of all that, we are expecting a new grandson to be born in Atlanta toward the last of January. I’m not gonna count on Vickie going with me if that new grandbaby comes. Talking about holidays, there seems to be so many holidays in a single year now, one can just about find one to celebrate every few weeks. I went to Walmart yesterday morning early, I think that was the day after Christmas, but I wouldn’t swear to it and got a bunch of beautifully wrapped candy to fill up the candy bowl for our customers…I may have accidentally bought the kinds I like, just sayin’. I hope I got enough to last me until Valentine’s Day. The only thing that is much better than candy is candy you get for half-price. Well, I got my prescriptions filled for some more pinicillin for my tooth and getting ready for re-doing my root-canal on Wednesday. I even got a couple of those little pills that made me act crazy the last time I took one. The last time I took one of those things, I think the dentist could have cut my toes off and I wouldn’t have known it. I have a really small mouth and also have the reputation of being a gagger, so I think the dentist is giving me those pills for himself as much as for me. They can prop my mouth open and have their way with me, just long as I don’t know what they are doing or I don’t feel any pain, I’m a pretty happy camper. However, I do feel kind of sorry for Vickie, she has to stay here and postpone her trip to Atlanta for an extra day. From what she told me about some of the things I did the last time I took just one of those pills, it’s probably a good idea. I was a danger to myself and stumbled around the house until she got me to bed. I slept for about seven or eight straight hours and Vickie checked in on me several times just to make sure I was still breathing. Heck, I might take two of those pills this time and get a real good nap. If you haven’t gotten everything done in 2014 that you were hoping to do yet, you’d better get crackin’, time is running out. I don’t know what happens to time when you reach a certain age, but it seems to speed up. When I was a kid and waiting for Christmas to roll around, it seemed like it would never arrive, but now, it feels like Christmas comes two or three times a year. Since the days are longer now, maybe you’ll find some time to come by the gallery and say howdy today. I hope your day is good and you get a whole bunch of hugs. Life is grand, so be sure to than the Good Lord for it. God Bless!!
