BREAKING OVERNIGHT NEWS: A deputy has died and another is in critical condition after the two were shot in an altercation in Charleston, South Carolina. Details are limited at this hour as to exactly what happened. Right now, we know someone fired at them through a door as the deputies approached an apartment. The parents of a missing Appalachian State University student are speaking out this morning. Today marks one week since 18-year-old Anna Marie Smith went missing...and investigators believe she may be in danger. Well have all new details in a LIVE report this morning. Another Ebola patient is coming to the U-S for treatment today. The World Health Organization has said that one of its doctors working in an Ebola treatment center in Sierra Leone contracted the disease and was being evacuated. Today, President Barack Obama meets with congressional leaders to outline his plan to combat militants from the group Islamic State. U.S. officials say Mr. Obama wants to respond to the militant threat with a broader counterterror mission than he had previously planned, but that hes still not committing U.S. troops to a ground war.
