Good morning world What you invest in your children nurtures them and develops their natural character and skills! What you choose to invest is what makes the difference! Love time energy creativity focus discipline guidance support encouragement praise example fun truth real life trust hugs education opportunities chances security counsel advice ... We are the future because without us the children will be lost in a system that only recognises them as a number, a statistic! Who we are lives on in our children! What we teach them is what they learn! So just for today - turn off the TV - put down the laptop - switch your phone off - pack the games console away and Get down on the floor and play a game with your child(ren).. Draw a picture! Build a tower! Make a card! Write a poem! Create a new game! Go to the park! (none of which I might add requires money!) Teach them how to interact! Teach them how to win and lose! Teach them how to try something new! Teach them that they are worth all of you and more! Undistracted and undivided attention shows a child for just one minute that you care! So go on - just for today - be the parent!!!
