Good news: Ct results from last nights full body scan are in. All disease in chest (node in right lung root, and lesion in chest wall) is stable w no new lesions. Head and neck completely clear. Disease in groin and next to liver shows slight shrinkage, especially in area of left groin lymph node. Thank you Dr. Chawla, and Dr. Federman. Thank you Aldoxorubicin/CytRx. I invite you all to friend me, so that you can read all of my posts. Jeffrey was just barely able to start a compassionate use of Aldoxorubicin back on September 24th due to rising bilirubin levels due to tumor progression. We were able to get a temporary bile duct stent in place back on September 13th, and bilirubin levels immediatel fell to acceptable levels for us to qualify for the third phase trial of Aldoxorubicin, albet on a compassionate use basis due to Jeffreys age (11). Age 15 is the minimum age to officially be part of the trial. Weve been able to receive two doses of Aldox, and we will soon receive a third in the next week or so. We recently had complications due the stent becoming dislodged, probaly due to the tumor shrinking and/or shifting. The stent was removed yesterday, and now we are dealing w more bile issues having gone from 4 to 6 in 24 hours since procedure, but they arent at the higher levels that rose up to 12 in early September. We hope they will be resolved on their own, once inflammation from ercp procedure subsides, but we may have to have another stent placed by interventional radiology if bilirubin levels dont fall to below 1.8 soon. Hope and blessings to all. New therapies are on the horizon including IGF1R and mTORC1&2 inhibitors. TODAY IS OUR 3RD CANCERVERSARY SINCE OFFICIAL DIAGNOSIS ON 11.11.11.
