Good news from the mountain, team has arrived at Barafu Base Camp and Sonya is feeling much better. All your thoughts and prayers must have worked! It is pretty chilly generally at this altitude but now the sun has been covered by some cloud so it is particularly cold. All off for a short acclimatization walk before lunch then the afternoon to rest. Dinner will be early to try and allow time for a little sleep before the start of the summit night around 10pm. Reception not so great so not sure if there will be another update before they leave but I am sure Thomas will make a plan.
