CACR is working on various issues, all related to improving the functioning and quality of education in BMC schools:- 1. Empowering citizen volunteers to participate as SMC members, 2. Implementing the CLP for children and teachers in municipal schools, 3. Reviewing and monitoring the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation process, 4. monitoring the functioning and quality of education in Secondary Schools too, 5. Tying up with like minded partners and citizens to help in implementing Spoken English Programmes for Class I and II, Vocational Courses for Class VIII and Class X children, establishing Sports Centres in every ward, teaching classical dance to children in municipal schools, 6. Creating awareness and improve participation through Social Media, etc. Many more issues are being looked into and hence we need a lot of Voluntary Participation to look into various aspects... For anything worth having one must pay the price; and the price is always work, patience, love, self-sacrifice - no paper currency, no promises to pay, but the gold of real service. John Burroughs
