Good to see all the first aid knowledge being delivered locally of late, well done to all involved. First Aid cover at events seems to sometimes take a back seat but its really important that people look at the numbers attending their events in the past and the sort of casualties that have occurred in the past. That way event organisers can assess the level of cover required and what each first aid provider they are considering can offer . Dont forget St John Ambulance are doing some great work locally. We recently provided free first aid demonstrations to the great people of the Salvation Army and on a daily basis are providing first aid training across the UK. The money generated from our event cover is ploughed back into a number of projects including our schools project and our free literature and aps to get first aid knowledge out to as many people as possible. Hopefully this can ensure lives are not lost through peoples lack of not knowing first aid . its great to know there are so many people in our local community with first aid knowledge :D
