Goodday to you and welcome to today’s episode of If It Were You on facebook. Please read the story below and give your candid advice: Dear sir, please help me because I don’t know what to do now. Sir, I think I married a thief. My husband is an airport cab driver and he has been doing that even before I married him. I work in a school as a receptionist and the way he spends money even while we were in courtship prompted me to ask him how lucrative his business is and he answered that he does some land sales and building contract by the side. Fast forward, now that we are married his lifestyle is still very extravagant and there are no sign of contract or land sale anywhere. A few weeks ago, he mistakenly told me that a passenger forgot money in his cab and I advised him to return it, he gave excuses initially and later told me he has returned the money. But four days ago, I stumbled on a text message he sent to a fellow cab driver on how his own percentage of the money from “their drugged victim” will be paid into his account soon. The text message gave him away that it is not the first time incidence and I can guess he belongs to a syndicate that specializes on drugging their victim and carting away their possession. Now, I am really scared, I never believed that my church going husband and father of my two children is a thief. How do I handle this, please help me.
