Goodnight, People of the Page. I spent a good day proof reading the galleys of Prince Lestat, or the First Pass, as it is now called in the publishing world, trying to catch all those little mistakes or bumps missed in manuscript and copy editing. Lestat lives. My eyes are tired. So is my brain. But not too tired for me to continue watching the BBC series, The Paradise, all about a London department store in the 19th century and based on a novel by Emil Zola. Not as fast paced or relentlessly dramatic as Mr. Selfridge, but very well done and intriguing. FB was an enigma today. My last post reached a little under 3,500 people in the last two hours. But an earlier post including 50 surprising photographs from the past reached over 600,000! Go figure. Of course the surest way to rack up views on FB is to post on cats. Maybe I should start each day with a picture of my cat, Meribelle. I think FB is secretly owned by and managed by cats. Until tomorrow.....
