Goooood morning Weaners, theres a couple of questions in the inbox about extended gagging (i.e. babies that gag/throw up for longer than the usual couple of weeks), and I wondered if anyone had any advice for them, or if you found anything that worked well for you? Many thanks, Beth. The first question is from a mum of a 1-year-old who says: Its like she gets really excited for food and wants it as quickly as she can. Im at my wits end as every meal time ends in gagging, vomit and tears (both my daughters and mine). The second has been doing BLW for over 2 months and says: He loves the finger foods, puts it to his mouth, chews away and swallows. Its then as though it gets stuck in his throat and he gags. He then gags so much he throws up all his milk. Even if its hours since his last feed.
