Goooooood grief!!!!! It looks like I am about to experience my very first full blown hurricane EVER! Right now the wind is absolutely HOWLING outside and the rain looks like its going up instead of coming down. There are trees down all over the neighborhood as well as several light poles. My neighbors garage? It is no more. Gone. Just.....gone. Dont have a clue as to its whereabouts. The only thing left is its footprint where it was. It also looks like I inherited somebody elses lawn furniture as well as an odd assortment of trash cans. Even entire rooted plants have been blown out of their holes to never be seen again. And poor Elmo.......After I had to put all my considerable weight behind the door this morning to just get it open I let him (Elmo) out for his morning constitutionalarials and his little fat self was tossed by the wind all over the back yard like a pinball. Every time he would raise his leg to take care of business the wind would catch him off balance and I would have to chase him down and pick him back up. Almost got to the point that I thought I was gonna have to stake him down just so he could relieve himself. There was also a report of two waterspouts just offshore here with one of them actually picking up a tug boat and setting it back down almost a quarter mile away. And I cant even begin to describe the sky. Angry is not the word for it. Thoroughly pissed off would probably be a better description. It is absolutely terrifying. Why...Just a few minutes ago I was....I was.....Oh all right......Its not that bad out there. The wind did make my wind chimes out on the front porch make a ding sound but it really was a loud ding. And the sky? Okay....Maybe angry is a bit of a stretch but I did see a cloud out on the horizon but in my defense....That cloud looked like a goat. A mean goat. A REALLY mean goat.(If ya used your imagination that is).Okay....Gotta go take my morning constitutionalarial myself so yall have a good un. Later.
