Goooooood morning! Aloooooha!!!!! how are you!!!!???? I´m sooooooo excited, this week I´m almost done preparing one of my many surprises for this Fall! As you know I work alone, this is a 100% one woman´s job, and you might wonder, how do I do it? Well... first of all I´m crazy... (that´s VERY IMPORTANT) I´m crazy because I believe that everything is possible and I don´t give a shit about people telling me this is too hard, this is too risky, this is blah, blah, blah.. Then... I don´t really care about rules... (this one is also kind of important) the rules that say we have to work certain days of the week, certain amount of hours, in certain way... that to be successful and happy you have to behave or do certain things... I don´t care... and then I WORK PWETTY HARD!!!! All what I have as Cara Carmina right now: -my etsy store -my website -my social media -my work!!!! -my contacts -the stores where I sell my work -my clients -my photos -my resources -my packaging -my design EVERYTHING ABOUT CARA CARMINA has been done by QUESTA SEÑORITA!!!! through many years of hard work! Like a little ant I´ve been taking little pieces and putting them together to create what you see right now... I´ve put hours upon hours of work into my websites, into editing photos, into making dolls, into networking, into doing research! Nothing is random, everything is consequence of (like Lemony Snicket would say) a series of "fortunate" events that I´ve done... and well... why I´m telling you this? because this Fall I will see many projects I´ve had in my mind for months come true... (I gave a little preview last night, but if you missed it I will post another preview after this post) When I see something come true, something that was a DREAM one day.... a dream of mine... it all comes together and I think to myself "It was all worth it" I could have say many times to myself "this is too hard", "this is taking too long", "this is so annoying", "I´m tired", "I don´t have money" or "I DON´T KNOW" ... it would have been easier, and in a way I would have been right, there is no wrong in "not knowing", "not having patience" or "not having resources" is totally understandable, but you can go a lifetime giving excuses to your dreams... A LIFETIME!!!! the only sad part of doing this is... they will never come true! So... Today I´m going to pick up samples to the result of another of my surprises, and if it looks like I hope it will.... I´ll be able to show it to you TODAY!!!!!! Let´s make some dreams come true!!!!!!!
