Gooooooooood Morning and Happy Monday! Lots on the go this week, including the Royal St. Johns Regatta, plus a developing Tropical Storm Bertha, which could indeed pay us a visit later this week. Currently, forecast model guidance is in pretty good agreement with a track for Bertha, either over the Grand Banks, or the Avalon, Wednesday night into Thursday, as a Post Tropical Storm. As always the track will be key, with the heaviest rain set for along and just West of the track & the strongest winds expected along and just East of the track. As of now, the Avalon & the Grand Banks are certainly in that watch zone, with Wednesday night & Thursday looking like the time frame. Stay tuned, Ill keep you updated on the latest track & expected impacts over the next few days. As of now, it appears the Royal St. Johns Regatta will likely be a go, with Bertha not set to arrive until after midnight. Overall, Wednesday looks like a pretty good day with Sun & Cloud and nice temps. Winds will be picking up into the afternoon & evening and theres a slight risk at we could see a shower into the evening, just ahead of Bertha. Obviously the eventual timing & track of Bertha will be key, so stay tuned for any updates over the next few days.
