Gossip! We as people have a tendency to listen to gossip. We also have a tendency to believe that gossip has to be true. I mean so and so told me that so it has to be true. There is no possible way that it was started by someone who was hurt or started off as one thing and ended up as so much more. So then we continue the gossip because it had to be so real we had to share it no matter what the consequences are. That gossip spreads so far that it ruins someone elses life. One day you find out the real truth and you just be quiet because you knew you were wrong and that person who was hurt so bad by your gossip spreading committed suicide. Today I read a story about a teacher who was accused of assaulting a student because the kid didnt like her grades. His life was ruined because people spread that around because it had to be true. When the real truth had come out it was too late. He knew even with the truth his life was ruined because people would always gossip. I thank my mother tremendously for raising me to believe there is always 3 sides to every story. To believe that just because some people view the world with coloured glasses doesnt make their reality a truth. I personally cant stand gossip or the people that love to start or continue it without having the balls to seek out the truth. You should be ashamed of yourself for it if that is how you live because that gossip will always hurt someone even if you dont know them.
