Got a call from someone who said he was from Cyber Cop and he said our PC had been hacked into and there were emails from Iran and other places and it needed to be fixed so they couldnt do it again. He wanted money and told him we didnt have the money. He would not take no for an answer and Wayne talked for bout an hour to him. Finally he handed me the phone and I told him we didnt have the money he was asking for to fix it and he still wouldnt take no for an answer so I hung up on him. He called straight back and asked for Wayne and I told him Wayne wasnt going to talk to him anymore. He said he had to talk to him because it was his account. I told him that we could not afford to give him the money and I asked him if he could assure me he was who he said he was n there was silence and I said HELLO and he said Im here but have to transfer you to my supervisor who never got on the phone. I hung up. He called again and Avery answered and told him we werent available and he said well there will be a cop at your door in 5 minutes. I havent seen any cop but he did manage to mess Waynes PC up and shut it down. Mine is still working. Anybody ever had this happen and any suggestions what should or could be done bout it? Also they threatened Wayne with a fine and jail time.
